"Who loves children’s books more than I do, well it’s Lisa. She shares her love of books and reading with my students at the Beethoven Elementary School. It’s her kindness that shines through and her willingness to want all children to love reading. Lisa brought books for our students, well over 1,000 books. I’ll never forget the smiles and excitement of the students choosing two books to take home. Our Kindness Projects were such a success with all the support we received from Storytime Crafts."

ReadBoston, Storytime Crafts, First Book - April 16, 2020
Every Friday, amazing volunteer drivers line up along the street at the Red Cross in Boston to safely pick up food, hygiene kits and books to deliver to families in need. Today, volunteers will drop off for 550 families from the King, Haynes, Trotter, Burke HS, Frederick, Dever, and McCormack.

With social distancing our tasks are harder, and require extra steps...our work is more independent, yet we are all dependent on each other. We all have the same goal...to reach families affected by the COVID crisis, give children access to reading, and show the BPS community we care, people care. Storytime Crafts amazing partners make this possible: ReadBoston, Martin Luther King K-8 School, Dorchester, Boston Public Schools, First Book and Hope & Comfort.
