"Who loves children’s books more than I do, well it’s Lisa. She shares her love of books and reading with my students at the Beethoven Elementary School. It’s her kindness that shines through and her willingness to want all children to love reading. Lisa brought books for our students, well over 1,000 books. I’ll never forget the smiles and excitement of the students choosing two books to take home. Our Kindness Projects were such a success with all the support we received from Storytime Crafts."

Nurtury Early Education, Roxbury
Nurtury is a recognized leader in early education and care. Our achievements during the last century are benchmarks in the evolution of early care and education in the United States, and through our center-based and family child care programs, we have touched generations of children and their families.

Nurtury Early Education provides high-quality child care to give Greater Boston’s youngest children in need, birth to age five, the opportunity to reach their full potential by investing in school readiness, promoting healthy development, and supporting families.

Building on 145 years as a leader in the early education sector, Nurtury serves more than 1,000 children in center-based programs and family child care settings. Nurtury envisions a world where, regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, all children have the opportunity to learn, discover, and develop the skills that empower healthy development and lifelong learning.
"Thank you so much to Storytime Crafts for providing our Nurtury Early Education programs with the most incredible book donations, early learning resources, and Corduroy-themed chair made from recycled materials! Storytime Crafts is a remarkable local literacy nonprofit committed to collecting and distributing educational resources throughout communities. Thanks to their donations, we will be able to incorporate more inclusive literature in our classrooms and make reading more engaging for our early learners using puppets and other play-based learning toys.
We are so fortunate that Storytime Crafts chose to partner with us. Their founder Lisa Vergara and her team of dedicated volunteers did an amazing job with their curations. We are so excited to share all these treasures with all the children and families in our early education centers and family child care programs!!"
