Mildred Avenue K-8 School, Mattapan

The Mildred Avenue K–8 School is a school on the rise, and the Mildred Momentum is continuing to build! Our Mildred students' test scores have rapidly improved in each of the last three years. More importantly, students and families are excited about being part of the Mildred Avenue K-8 community. Every day, our faculty and staff committed to maximizing the learning of every child. We provide a rigorous, student-centered curriculum at all grade levels. Additionally, all students have a daily intervention period in which we customize instruction to the needs of each individual.

“Storytime Crafts is an amazing organization. We are so grateful for all the support and donations. It was really exciting to be able to provide so many resources such as books, dolls, toys, games and play houses to our children and families at the Mildred.

We received an overload of donations organized by categories and different subjects. We also received musical instruments for our Music class which we are extremely grateful for. Teachers, students, and families were all really happy with all of the donations. These contributions have a positive impact on everyone at Mildred Ave enriching their learning experiences and creative play.”
